Blue Anchor British Car Show

The Blue Anchor British Pub in Delray Beach and Wheels Across the Pond have joined forces, birthing the first annual Blue Anchor British Car Show. The Blue Anchor, after attending the Wheels Across the Pond Car show, decided that their location in the entertainment district in Delray on Atlantic Avenue would serve as a perfect venue. The show filled around 80 available spaces, where British car owners paid $20 to feature their classic vehicle in the show. The event was free to spectators and featured live music, authentic British food, and an all-around fun, casual atmosphere. The show was such a success, that a tentative schedule for 2010 is already in the works, registration beginning at 10am with three hours of showcase and awards of excellence and of course, a four-hour cocktail reception for atendees. Wheels Across the Pond and the Blue Anchor have also hosted a caravan from Jupiter, FL to Delray this year, it’s attendance also very impressive. 
Event Timings
We will form a caravan from the Publix parking lot on Northlake Blvd and drive down together. Please be there between 8.50am and 9.05am as we will leave at 9.10am.
- 8.55am: Meet at Publix on Nortlake Blvd just west of I-95
- 9.10am: Leave Publix in Convoy
- 10.00am: Registration starts
- 12.00pm: Regitration ends
- 12.00pm: Show starts
- 4.00pm: Presentations of awards and raffles
- 4.15pm: Official Cocktail Reception
