Laurence Gartel to display Auto Motion at Supercar Experience

Florida Artist Laurence Gartel will display his automotive art during the 2010 Supercar Experience. The exhibit, named “Auto-Motion” features Ferrari inspired Gartel originals.  The images of the Ferrari are snapped with a digital camera and then manipulated using methodical techniques and computers to produce an auto, techno, modern vision.  The artwork is simply striking as every bold piece seems to slap you eyeball in the face and immediately grab your attention.

In the 1970’s Gartel’s idea of using computers to manipulate images as art became fodder for skeptics to throw back their heads and laugh at.  After all, digital cameras and personal computers had not yet been invented, so the concept blew way over the heads of many.

In additon to his Art Work, Gartel will present and sign his limited edition Art Book “Auto Motion”. The Introduction was written by no other than Jason Castriota, creator of the Ferrari 599 and Maserati Gran Tourismo.
