Rob Van Winkle, prominently known as “Vanilla Ice”, has sold over 25 Mio records in recent years and established his status as music “Superstar”.

He recently released his remake of “Ice-Ice Baby” in the UK with Simon Cowell’s X-Factor featured group “Jedward” and holds currently no. 1 for the best selling single in the UK.

The Wellington resident is also known for his passion with exotic cars and racing. He has successfully competed in AMA dirt bike competitions, raced Jet Ski on wild rivers, and owned one of the first “Gemballa’s Porsches” in the United States.

His dedication for supercars, collectibles, exotic cars and especially Cadillac’s, is well known on car shows around Florida, and he owns a stunningly restored 1964 de Ville convertible.

In his music career he met former EMI-executive Dr. Hans Reinisch, who helped Rob achieve selling multiple “Platinum” albums in Austria/Europe. They developed music projects together and became friends in the early 90’s.

Dr. Hans Reinisch, Austrian native, business entrepreneur and resident of Delray Beach, has a career of his own. He was 18 times Austrian champion in swimming and member of the Olympic swimming team for Munich and Montreal.

He successfully managed the first “Health Bio-Trainings Resort” in Austria as CEO, and contracted the Formula 1 Teams under Ron Dennis with Ayerton Senna, Alain Prost, Niki Lauda, Gerhard Berger and Michael Schumacher for their ongoing racing circuit’s check-ups, special health needs and fitness trainings.

His racing genes go back to his grandfather, who was a leading engineer in the development of the Porsche 356 in Austria, and personal friend of Ferdinand Porsche. He has been collecting supercars and vintage cars.

Rob and Hans with their common passion are now developing a stunning new project in Delray Beach, called “TheCarLoft”.

www.TheCarloft.com

This unique project features 22 individual car showrooms/storages for exotics, supercars and collectibles.

The “Car Garage” will come with durable “racing inspired” marble floors, snap on tools working equipment, high-end cleaning materials and a built in lift can be added if needed.

All units are equipped with “Hi-Tec” entertainment features, such as LCD –TV’s, Dolby surround music and gaming equipment kitchenettes and bathrooms.

The upstairs loft is designed as office or short term overnight stay. It will have an expandable sleeper or Murphy bed, shower, bathroom and all amenities to enjoy and relax.

It is designed as the first “live –in” community for owners with passion for their driving artwork.

The extremely exclusive project comes completely “tricked –out”, “turn-key”, in various individual sizes from 1800-2400 square feet and up to 4 cars per unit for their future V.I.P. owners.

The project will also feature state of the art environmental equipment, such as solar powered lights and water heating, hurricane resistant windows and eco friendly materials throughout.

Therefore the anticipated running cost will be extremely low and affordable and an onsite manager will provide additional service as well as 24 hour security.

“TheCarLoft” Delray Beach site is located just 5 minutes from downtown and its most famous Atlantic Avenue and only minutes away from the sandy Floridian beach.

The Delray site is designed as the pilot-project, and the two entrepreneurs are planning to go nationwide with an already prepared “TheCarLoft-Franchise”.

Rob and Hans are eager to be move into their own units owners and are looking forward to have car shows, events and “great times” with their neighbor car enthusiasts.

So check out the website, get driving and enjoy your ride. For more info visit
www.thecarloft.com, or call 561-8430099 to get you early reservation in.

JUPITER, FL (June 26, 2009) – Howard Wishner, one of the nation’s premier sports and beverage-marketing executives, has joined Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) as Chief Communications/ Marketing Officer.
Wishner, who earned national acclaim for orchestrating numerous ‘firsts’ in the sports-marketing arena, such as connecting Fortune 100 companies with major events like the Indianapolis 500, will oversee and manage all aspects of the organization’s sales, marketing and communications, both for the newly re-designed, state-of-the-art, multi-track venue track, as well as for the Palm Beach Driving Club (PBDC), PBIR’s newly-founded, exclusive driving club.

In this role, Wishner brings more than 30 years of integrated communications and marketing experience to the raceway, with a broad skill set that encompasses all aspects of marketing, brand identity programs, promotions and special events. His core strength is building brands by using marketing and communications initiatives to help sell them within the marketplace.

A master in pioneering branding initiatives, Wishner has developed innovative marketing campaigns for national and worldwide sponsored events including Championship Auto Racing Teams (now IRL), NASCAR, the NFL, NBA, MLB, the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), Olympics and X Games.

He has developed and implemented strategic sales and marketing campaigns in a variety of markets including packaged goods, food and beverage, and sports and entertainment, resulting in increased sales and stock surges, and ensuring maximum return on investment.

Prior to joining Palm Beach International Raceway, Wishner held the position of Senior Vice President of Promotions, Marketing and Special Events at the National Beverage Corp. in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where he was tasked with developing a new marketing department designed to integrate programs between sales, marketing and distributors that supported new innovation products, as well as the company’s existing portfolio.
His role also included identifying sporting events and signing athletes as spokespersons to support the individual brands, exponentially furthering existing media coverage, events and advertising.

Wishner’s extensive career in integrated communications, marketing, and brand development began at Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. After roles at several major agencies in New York, he launched his privately owned public relations firm, Wishner Communications, Ltd. With clients that included General Motors, Jeep Eagle, Pepsi, Major League Baseball, National Football League, Championship Auto Racing, the Teams Pro Football, Basketball Hall of Fame, Indian Motorcycle, V2K and Momints, his firm was one of the first agencies to recognize the importance of what is now called ‘sports marketing.’

Wishner has also served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications at the South Beach Beverage Company (SoBe), where he developed and implemented numerous integrated strategies to support a lifestyle product that would eventually make history in its category. His experience with SoBe led to a number of other opportunities within the beverage industry, where he helped expand numerous brands, including Brazil Gourmet, IZZE Beverage and FUZE Beverage.

“Throughout all his successes, Howard always remained a performance car and race enthusiast,” says Ron Dixon, president and COO of Palm Beach International Raceway. “This is an excellent opportunity to bring someone onboard who not only has a long track record of developing and implementing integrated communications strategies, but is an actual pioneer in the arena of sports marketing. He is a perfect fit for this environment.”
“I’ve always had a passion for motorsports,” adds Wishner. “My first car was a Firebird 400, and I’ve owned nothing but performance vehicles and motorcycles from then on. To be in a position where I can bring my core skill set in marketing and communications to a racing venue is the perfect marriage for me. I look forward to furthering PBIR as one of the world’s premier motorsports venues.”

Wishner earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University and the University of South Carolina, where he also did post-graduate work. He is frequent speaker on sports marketing, and is currently involved, both locally and nationally, with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

###
